        學(xué)科組研究方向：藻類(lèi)分類(lèi)與資源利用學(xué)科組歷史悠久，是水生所最早建立的學(xué)科組之一。
        饒欽止教授于1936年回國在中央研究院動(dòng)植物研究所創(chuàng  )立藻類(lèi)分類(lèi)組，歷八十余年，經(jīng)幾代人不懈努力，藻類(lèi)分類(lèi)與資源利用學(xué)科組始終致力于我國淡水藻類(lèi)區系和系統分類(lèi)學(xué)研究，先后發(fā)表幾百篇論文，編寫(xiě)藻類(lèi)分類(lèi)學(xué)專(zhuān)著(zhù)12本，發(fā)表了大量新物種，獲得包括國家自然科學(xué)二等獎在內的科技成果獎共計8項。目前學(xué)科組研究方向有：
        1.   藻類(lèi)系統分類(lèi)---負責中國淡水藻類(lèi)志的編研和重要類(lèi)群的系統分類(lèi)學(xué)研究。
        2.   藻類(lèi)生物多樣性---開(kāi)展浮游藻類(lèi)和底棲藻類(lèi)生物多樣性研究及基于藻類(lèi)的水體健康評價(jià)。
        3.   微藻資源化利用---篩選富高值代謝物的微藻藻株，探討藻類(lèi)利用新途徑。
